Officially Official: The Lakers Select Bronny James With The 55th Overall Pick And LeBron Has Fulfilled His Dream
Welp, it finally happened. In other news, water is wet. I'll be honest, I almost missed this pick and it's arguably one of the most important moments as a Laker in the last few seasons because the draft must have started at like 4 pm in NYC. I'm not sure anyone even knew it was happening that early. None of that matters because Bronny is now a Laker, LeBron has fulfilled his prophecy, and is still averaging 26/7/8 and now gets to be teammates with his son for the first time in NBA history. Everyone on Earth knew he was going to end up there, especially after Rich Paul apparently threatened teams and told them that if they draft Bronny to be goofballs, then he was shipping him to Australia for a season:
Love or hate LeBron, you can't deny it's a cool moment as a father. The NBA is full of nepotism, and if you have a chance to appease the best player of all time, you do it 100 out of 100 times. Bronny Hall of Fame career is loading.
P.S. Funny is funny:
